Description
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (A.C.T.) aims to help people develop a better relationship with complex thoughts, feelings, and internal experiences and to encourage them to commit to living their life to the fullest (Harris, 2011).
A.C.T. exercises help children develop concentration and self-awareness. Mindfulness is a technique that can lead to structural changes in the brain that create and enhance stress management qualities. It is effective in the treatment of anxiety, stress and depression.
