Description

This course is designed to support the development of professional judgments. Contemporary challenges in social care require staff to resolve issues and make appropriate choices effectively. Thinking skills may seem natural, but they are not necessarily intuitive. A good foundation of thinking skills involves analytic thinking and problem solving – the ability to break problems down into their parts. Practical problem solving involves deductive reasoning and applying judgments to reach conclusions from a combination of collected evidence and assumptions.
