Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Learning Outcomes for the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy course:
- Support youth in developing an appreciation and understanding of feelings, body states, and associated thoughts and behaviours;
- Helping youth develop an increased capacity to tolerate and manage physiological and emotional experience; and
- Enhancing tolerance for and skill in building a relational connection.

This course is for Foster Carers and Adopters as well as their Supervising Social Workers. It is also suitable for Residential Child Care Workers (RCCW) and residential team managers from mainstream, short-breaks and outreach services.
