This course focuses on empathy skills within a trauma-informed approach, with particular attention to the impact of trauma work on practitioners themselves. It supports professionals to remain emotionally available and effective while protecting their own well-being in demanding roles.
The training addresses the realities of working with trauma, including vicarious trauma, secondary traumatic stress, compassion fatigue and burnout, helping participants recognise early warning signs and develop sustainable strategies for resilience and professional longevity.
