Description

Gang Training (UK)

This program aims to assist participants to understand how gang culture in the UK has developed and how a young person’s sense of self-identity can be related to gang culture.

We will discuss why children and young people may join a gang or even start up their own, as they look for friends who will protect them. The course explores how gangs are presented as easy access to money, friendship and a glamorous lifestyle. We then examine the reality of how gang culture impacts on the individual and wider society.
