This course is not only for people who are interested in training, but for all workers keen to improve their presentation skills. This can be useful in drugs education settings, group work settings, as well as conference and training settings.

This course ensures that participants are able to:

  1. Identify different learning styles
  2. Plan and deliver a training course
  3. Understand the appropriate use of presentation resources
  4. Write training aims and objectives in line with good practice
  5. Apply theories of group dynamics to training design and delivery
  6. Design innovative training materials
  7. Recognise and use a variety of presentation styles and methods
  8. Become more confident in presenting and delivering information
  9. Each participant will deliver a micro teach to the group and receive constructive feedback

Format: Taught sections, small group work, work in pairs, whole group discussion
