The process of creating a Personal Education Plan (PEP) for Looked After Children (LAC) is a crucial part of supporting them to reach their full academic and life potential. By its very nature, there are several parties involved, each with their own areas of responsibility. Ensuring that all parties understand their role is crucial if the PEP is going to be effective.
To address this challenge, our training can be delivered to mixed groups of Carers and Social Workers to ensure that all roles and responsibilities are clear when creating a Personal Education Plan for Looked After Children. In fact, this course is for anyone involved in the PEP process for LAC.

This course is for Foster Carers and Adopters. It is also crucial for Supervising Social Workers, and the course works very well delivered to mixed groups of Foster Carers and Social Workers to ensure that everybody understands the various roles and responsibilities.
This course is also for Residential Child Care Workers (RCCW) and residential team managers from mainstream, short-breaks and outreach services.
Course Level: It is pitched at a beginner/intermediate level and can also be adapted to an advanced level for skilled practitioners.
