Understanding Trauma – the first step to a Trauma-Informed Practice

Trauma-Informed Practice is key when working with children and young people who have suffered neglect, rejection or abuse. Without support to work through trauma, they will continue to experience neurological, developmental and psychological consequences, even when placed in a secure nurturing environment.

We are committed to supporting organisations move towards a Trauma-Informed way of working and have a suite of individual e-learning modules around Trauma-Informed Practice (see below). Our clients also called for us to create a face-to-face session that gives an overview of all of these topics.
